Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technician for Bridgestone Retail Operations to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, lead a team toward higher customer care, and mentor technicians.

A sign-on bonus of $1,500 is offered for first-time hires, with a pay range of $19.57–$33.47 per hour. The role emphasizes training, professional development, and a strong service culture across a network of stores.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license at all times.
• Experience with brakes/hydraulics and/or steering & suspension.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Adequately explain diagnoses and repairs to non-mechanics.
• Stay current with automotive tech through ongoing paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within two years.
