Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is hiring a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team toward better customer care. The role emphasizes hands-on diagnostics, ongoing training, and advancing ASE certifications with company-supported tests and bonuses.

The position supports store operations across the Bridgestone Retail Operations network, with a pay range listed in the ad. A strong emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork underpins everyday duties.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Skill in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• General automotive maintenance & tire repair experience.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1-A8 within first two years of employment; tests and fees are covered by the company; bonuses for tests passed.
