Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while using leadership to drive a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction. The role offers a flat-rate pay structure and a pay range reflecting regional work, with company-supported ASE certifications.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, explaining repairs to non-technical customers, staying current with automotive tech via paid training, and mentoring junior

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license at all times.
• Skilled in brakes/hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• A.S.E. certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within two years (tests paid by company).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least three of A1 – A8 within first two years of employment (Tests and registrations fees are paid for by company).
