Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technician in Spring, TX to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and mentor a team for improved customer care. The role emphasizes quality and efficiency through a flat-rate pay model and on-going formal training.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Ability to explain complex diagnoses and repairs to non-technical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through ongoing training and certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1 – A8 within first two years of employment.
