Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license at all times.
• Brakes/hydraulics skills or steering & suspension.
• General automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non‑technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• 3 years automotive repair experience.
• ASE certification in at least one of A1‑A8.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications (brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical).
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to non‑mechanical customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive technology via paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Aim to obtain/maintain ASE certifications within two years; fees covered by company.
