Job summary
Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Senior Technician in Kentucky to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while guiding a team toward enhanced customer care and satisfaction.
The role offers a flat-rate pay model, with regional adjustments reflecting productivity, and a commitment to fair compensation practices.
On-the-job training, ASE certifications support, and opportunities to grow within a global tire and auto service organization are provided.
Qualifications
- Must have valid driver’s license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
- Brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments experience.
- General automotive maintenance & tire repair skills.
- Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
- Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
- Reading, writing and math skills.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
- Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
- Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
- Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
- Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within first two years of employment.
