Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Racine, WI seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain various vehicle systems, stay current with evolving automotive tech, and mentor teammates.

A $1,750 sign-on bonus is offered for first-time hires, with flat-rate pay reflecting regional earning potential and experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with changing automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within two years (fees paid by company; bonus per test passed).
