Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Senior Technician in Nashville, TN to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a team toward higher customer care. The role offers flat-rate pay with performance incentives and requires ASE readiness within two years.

The position emphasizes training, career development, and compliance with fair compensation practices, with company support for certifications and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering and alignments.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brakes and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1 – A8 within first two years of employment (Tests and registrations fees are paid for by company pass or fail).
