Job summary

TGK Automotive Specialists in Minnesota seeks a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles to high standards, following MAP guidelines and factory/service procedures. You’ll explain findings to customers and staff, document work, and strive for efficiency and accuracy in every job.

Qualifications

• Minimum automotive technician experience required.
• ASE certifications may substitute for experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be at least 18 years old; High School Diploma or equivalent; technical school experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicles according to certifications/experience.
• Perform work on multi-point inspections and repairs with accuracy.
• Carry out complex/heavy-duty repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and staff.
• Recommend necessary services and document in customer file.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
