Job summary

Sames Auto Group in Texas is seeking a skilled automotive technician to diagnose, repair, and service vehicles to factory specifications. You will use state-of-the-art equipment and collaborate with technicians to complete tasks efficiently.

The ideal candidate has automotive repair experience, strong customer service, bilingual English/Spanish, and a willingness to stay current with new technologies through training. Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive diagnosis, problem-solving and repair.
• Strong customer service skills and motivation.
• Required hand tools for services performed.
• Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.
• ASE and A/C refrigerant handling certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair vehicle systems per specifications.
• Explain diagnosed issues and needed repairs to service advisors or customers.
• Assist technicians with technical activities and stay updated with new technologies.
• Maintain and secure tools, and keep the work area organized and hazard-free.
• Record findings accurately to support estimates and repairs.
