Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction. PayRange reflects regional rates and is based on performance.

The role emphasizes staying current with automotive technology through paid formal training, with opportunities to obtain ASE certifications and earn bonuses upon passing tests.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Skilled in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair experience.
• Current federal, state and local certification/licenses where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within two years of employment; tests paid by the company.
