Job summary

Nex Automotive in Rocklin, CA is seeking an experienced mechanic to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and wiring-related vehicle concerns, following OEM procedures and Nex standards. The role demands strong technical expertise and the ability to work independently to deliver high-quality repairs.

You will use diagnostic tools, perform root-cause analysis, conduct safety checks, and maintain accurate repair orders.

Qualifications

Advanced automotive mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic repair experience.
Strong knowledge of OEM repair procedures and wiring diagrams.
Experience with electrical fault isolation, wiring and harness repair, and module setup.
Proficient with OEM scan tools, diagnostic software, and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, wiring, network, and module-related vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and OEM scan tools.
Perform mechanical and electrical repairs in accordance with OEM procedures and company standards.
Complete electrical diagnostics, fault isolation, wire and circuit repair, circuit reconstruction, and harness repair.
Perform root-cause analysis and resolve complex or escalated technical issues.
Safely remove and install vehicle components for diagnosis or repair.
Test drive vehicles to verify proper operation and completed repairs.
Maintain accurate Repair Orders and document diagnostics, repairs, and services.
