Nex Automotive in Rocklin, CA is seeking an experienced mechanic to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and wiring-related vehicle concerns, following OEM procedures and Nex standards. The role demands strong technical expertise and the ability to work independently to deliver high-quality repairs.

You will use diagnostic tools, perform root-cause analysis, conduct safety checks, and maintain accurate repair orders.

Qualifications

• Advanced automotive mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of OEM repair procedures and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with electrical fault isolation, wiring and harness repair, and module setup.
• Proficient with OEM scan tools, diagnostic software, and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, wiring, network, and module-related vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and OEM scan tools.
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs in accordance with OEM procedures and company standards.
• Complete electrical diagnostics, fault isolation, wire and circuit repair, circuit reconstruction, and harness repair.
• Perform root-cause analysis and resolve complex or escalated technical issues.
• Safely remove and install vehicle components for diagnosis or repair.
• Test drive vehicles to verify proper operation and completed repairs.
• Maintain accurate Repair Orders and document diagnostics, repairs, and services.
