Bergey's Inc. is seeking a skilled automotive technician/mechanic to diagnose and repair vehicles across our dealership service department.

This role requires experience performing service work to dealership and factory standards, and the ability to work efficiently with parts and service staff. You will diagnose malfunctions, perform repairs, document work on repair orders, road test vehicles when needed, and communicate with the service advisor about additional work or warranty items.

Qualifications

• Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and perform repairs to dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Document all work performed on the repair order.

Responsibilities

• Performs mechanic work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnoses cause of malfunctions and performs repairs.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Saves and tags parts for warranty or customer requests.
• Examines vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required.
• Communicates with service advisor about additional work if needed.
• Documents all work performed on the repair order.
• Road tests vehicles when required.
