Qualifications

• ASE Certifications required and relevant state certificates.
• State Emission Certification required.
• State Vehicle Inspector Certification preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Performs mechanic work as an automotive technician outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, per dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnoses causes of malfunctions and performs repairs as an automotive technician.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Saves and tags parts of the job when under warranty or at customer request.
• Examines vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Documents all work performed on the repair order.
