Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, based in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and to lead a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction. A $1,750 sign-on bonus is offered for first‑time hires, with pay ranging from $20.60 to $33.47 per hour.

Our flat‑rate pay model rewards skilled technicians for each eligible task, with company support for ASE certifications and ongoing formal training.

Qualifications

• Must diagnose and repair brakes, hydraulics, steering and alignment, and electrical systems.
• Ability to explain technical diagnoses to non‑technical customers.
• Openness to continuous training and ASE certification progress.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non‑mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least three of A1 – A8 within first two years of employment.
