Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leveraging leadership to improve customer care and satisfaction. The role offers a performance-based flat-rate pay structure reflecting regional productivity.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing diverse systems, mentoring teammates, and pursuing ASE certifications with company-supported fees. A valid license and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in brakes, hydraulics, steering & suspension and alignments.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• 3+ years of automotive repair experience or completion of a Vocational-Technical program.
• ASE certification in at least one of A1–A8 (L1 acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment.
