Job summary

CarMax in West Point, VA is seeking a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to meet safety and quality standards. You’ll work with a skilled team in a climate-controlled facility and gain hands-on experience across domestic and foreign vehicles.

This role requires experience in engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC, with strong safety awareness, the ability to lift heavy objects, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
