Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Automotive Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles in Goodyear Auto Service centers, delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, diagnosing brakes, steering, suspension, engine performance, and HVAC systems, with emphasis on safety and quality. The role offers a flat-rate structure with a 75% guarantee and opportunities for ASE-based pay increases and career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
• Must have three years of experience in automotive repair, including automotive diagnosis, problem-solving, and repairs.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Preferred Qualifications: ASE A4 Steering and Suspension and A5 Brakes certifications and state inspection licenses and/or MAC certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive services while delivering an excellent guest experience.
• Troubleshoot problems and demonstrate strong diagnostic skills.
• Inspect, repair and diagnose brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioner, coolant systems.
• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during operating hours.
• Maintain standards of sales, service, safety, and housekeeping; use protective equipment when operating machinery.
