Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicle systems across our U.S. service centers. You will diagnose brakes, suspension, engine performance, A/C, and electrical issues with modern diagnostic tools.

The full-time role offers a flat-rate structure with a 75% hour guarantee, ongoing training, career growth, competitive benefits, and opportunities to advance within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of automotive repair experience or three years in military vehicle maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred ASE A4 (Steering & Suspension) and A5 (Brakes) certifications, state inspection license, or MAC certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems including brakes, suspension, engine performance, air conditioning, and coolant systems
• Troubleshoot problems using the latest diagnostic technology
• Mentor teammates and continually learn new techniques as automotive technology evolves
• Maintain high standards of safety, service, and housekeeping while using protective equipment
• Perform manual tasks such as lifting tires/wheels and standing, bending, and squatting for extended periods
