Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Nashville, TN, seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while mentoring a team to boost customer care and satisfaction. A sign-on bonus of 2000 USD accompanies a pay range of 21.85 to 37.62 per hour, with a performance-based flat-rate compensation model.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, and air conditioning systems, and training colleagues.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics and/or steering & suspension.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non‑technical individuals.
• Stay current with changing automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1‑A8) within first two years of employment; tests paid for by the company.
