Job summary

Dana Incorporated is seeking a System & Software V&V Engineer to validate embedded software for electrification programs. You will design and execute test cases, analyze requirements, and support cross-functional teams across automotive hardware and software domains.

This role requires experience with automotive validation tools (VectorCast, CANoe, dSPACE) and knowledge of ASPICE and ISO 26262. You will report on V&V metrics and help ensure functional safety and cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in power electrification embedded software and validation.
• Experience with automotive validation tools and test methodologies.
• Knowledge of embedded C/C++ and model-based design.
• Familiarity with ASPICE, ISO 26262, AUTOSAR and cybersecurity testing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system and software requirements and develop test cases.
• Execute system integration and validation plans and support bug fixes.
• Ensure traceability from test cases to requirements.
• Prepare V&V reports and metrics per strategy and plan.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
