Job summary

H+H Chevy in Papillion, NE is seeking an experienced Automotive Shop Foreman to mentor Technicians and Apprentices, ensuring efficient vehicle flow through the repair process and high customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes leadership, diagnostics, and coordinating between Service Advisors and Technicians.

The candidate should have prior shop foreman or master technician experience with Chevrolet, strong communication, and a passion for mentoring.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Shop Foreman in a dealership or independent shop is required.
• Previous experience with Chevrolet as a Master Technician or higher.
• Strong diagnostic skills.
• Desire to grow the team through training and mentoring of younger Technicians and Apprentices.
• Formal or informal leadership experience guiding a team or mentoring.
• Effective communication with Technicians, Service Advisors, and Customers.
• Understanding of warranty processes, repair order documentation, and compliance standards.
• Time management and ability to prioritize multiple jobs in the shop.
• Ability to operate vehicles and use dealership computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop the team of Technicians and Apprentices at H+H Chevy in Papillion.
• Monitor job status to ensure timely completion and quality workmanship.
• Road-test vehicles with customers when needed to identify problems.
• Maintain workflow in the Service Shop and uphold safety and housekeeping standards.
• Serve as the designated person to handle all Comebacks in the Service Shop.
