Job summary

Mobis Alabama LLC seeks a Plastics QC Senior Specialist to ensure that products meet quality expectations and coordinate with suppliers and customers on issues, while initiating countermeasures to control quality problems.

The role requires collaboration with production and suppliers, performing defect analysis with QC tools, maintaining equipment, and leading investigations to resolve product complaints as needed, with travel to the Montgomery OEM site.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office suite and strong communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and inspect mechanical systems for quality control.
• Experience with automotive manufacturing environments preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP and data management tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support projects in the New Car Project department.
• Collaborate with CKD suppliers to improve part quality and reliability.
• Evaluate production samples for conformance to specs.
• Develop work standards for the Plastics plant.
• Support quality operations for timely product releases and compliance.
• Act as quality representative for suppliers and customers as needed.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement containment measures.
• Maintain test and production equipment and calibrations.
• Lead quality investigations and product complaint follow-up.
• Participate in site or global projects and improvements.
