Job summary

American Society for Quality is seeking a QA Engineer to validate an IVI software platform across software and hardware environments. You will partner with development, systems, requirements, and integration teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and support release validation.

Responsibilities include creating test plans and cases, executing functional, integration, regression and end-to-end tests, ensuring traceability, managing defects, and contributing to QA process improvements in line

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software QA/testing in automotive/infotainment.
• Strong SDLC and Agile experience with test planning and execution.
• Experience with API, integration, and system-level testing; traceability.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze software requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities.
• Verify traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and systems engineers to ensure product quality.
• Support release validation and software verification activities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and quality planning sessions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Support compliance with automotive software development standards and processes.
