Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design, with automotive industry exposure.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks) and PDM/PLM.
• Strong understanding of automotive design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with FEA for structural and thermal analysis.
• Familiarity with automotive standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical automotive components using CAD software.
• Create drawings, specifications, and BOMs for manufacturing.
• Perform FEA and analysis to assess strength and performance.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure producibility and quality.
• Test and validate components and analyze results for improvements.
• Work with QA and R&D to resolve design issues.
• Ensure designs comply with ISO/TS 16949 and customer specs.
• Support troubleshooting of production issues related to design.
• Stay updated on automotive materials and technologies.
• Prepare reports and presentations on design validation.
