Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations is hiring a Lead Technician in Bayonne, NJ to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team to deliver exceptional customer care. The role emphasizes continuous training and ASE certification progression.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license at all times.
• Experience diagnosing/repairing brakes, alignment and suspension.
• Experience in automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications: brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment.
