Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Brick Township, NJ is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while using leadership and mentoring skills to drive a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction.

The role features flat-rate pay within the pay range of $22.66 – $37.92 per hour, on-site work, ongoing training with ASE certifications, and a path to ASE tests paid by the company. Bridgestone emphasizes development, teamwork, and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering and suspension.
• Able to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• A.S.E. certification in at least three of A1-A8 within two years.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, electrical, suspension and A/C.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive technology through ongoing paid training.
• Assist and mentor technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue and maintain ASE certifications as part of career development.
