Job summary
Sapphire Stream Technology in Southfield, MI seeks a Senior Validation Engineer to test, validate, and diagnose automotive infotainment and connected-vehicle systems through automated and manual testing at bench, vehicle, and plant levels. You will perform hardware diagnostics, log analysis, and root-cause troubleshooting, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive validation and sign-off of vehicle software features.
Familiarity with CAN bus tools and test automation is required.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering, or foreign equivalent
- 3 years of experience in validation engineering or related field
Responsibilities
- Test, validate, and diagnose infotainment and connected-vehicle systems through automated and manual testing.
- Design and execute automated test scripts for infotainment systems.
- Perform hardware diagnostics, log analysis, and root-cause troubleshooting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive validation and sign-off of vehicle software features.
- Support plant-level troubleshooting and launch activities at assembly and pilot plant sites.
