Placements24 is seeking a Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer for a fully remote role focused on automotive electronics, power management, and embedded systems. You will design, validate, and drive hardware solutions across ECU and sensor platforms.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
10+ years in electrical hardware design for automotive applications.
Experience with automotive electrical architectures and power electronics.
Proven ability to design and launch complex automotive electronics systems.
Familiarity with functional safety (ISO 26262) principles.

Responsibilities

Lead the electrical hardware design for automotive systems incl ECUs, sensors, actuators.
Develop detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and system diagrams.
Perform SI/PI, thermal analysis, and EMC/EMI mitigation.
Define hardware validation and test plans for reliability.
Collaborate across software, systems, and mechanical teams.
Specify automotive-grade components considering env, cost, and supply chain.
Mentor junior engineers and advance design processes.
Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 and other standards.
