Job summary

Alten USA is seeking a hands-on Hardware Design Engineer with automotive embedded experience to design, develop, validate, and launch embedded hardware for seating, actuators, motors, and interior systems. You will lead hardware development activities across requirements to production, collaborating with Systems, Software, Mechanical, Validation, Manufacturing and Customer teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of automotive embedded hardware development experience.
• Strong experience with schematic design and electronic hardware development.
• Experience supporting PCB layout and hardware design activities.
• Experience with CAN and LIN communication integration.
• Experience supporting requirements management and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive embedded electronic hardware solutions.
• Lead hardware development activities from requirements to production launch.
• Create and review schematics, component selection, circuit design, and PCB development.
• Support validation, EMC compliance, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with Systems, Software, Mechanical, Validation, and Manufacturing teams.
