Job summary

Graham Auto Repair seeks an A-Level Diagnostic Technician to own complex drivability, electrical, CAN/network, HVAC, diesel and hybrid/EV diagnostics across passenger cars, trucks, and motorhomes. The role emphasizes evidence-based root-cause analysis and precise repairs using premium tools.

You will document digital inspections, interpret DTCs, live data, and waveforms, while mentoring apprentices and collaborating with Service Advisors to ensure lasting fixes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on automotive diagnostic/repair experience.
• Active ASE certifications preferred; EPA 609 required within 30 days if not held.
• Active driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proficient with advanced diagnostic tools and OEM service information.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end diagnosis and repair on complex systems across varied vehicle types.
• Document diagnostic procedures clearly in the shop management system.
• Conduct pre/post-drive tests to verify repair effectiveness.
• Assist apprentices and mid-level technicians with diagnostic planning.
