Job summary

O’Gara Coach Company is seeking a Controller to oversee financial, administrative, and risk management operations. You will manage multiple brands, design control systems, and ensure accurate reporting of financial results in a fast-paced dealership environment.

The role requires 5+ years of automotive accounting, a Bachelor’s in a related field, and strong Excel skills. You will lead a team, coordinate audits, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years automotive dealership accounting experience including supervisory responsibilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting procedures, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
• Experience with paperless systems and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements per O’GARA guidelines.
• Analyze financial activity and communicate trends to Corporate Controller.
• Collaborate with General Manager to improve processes and procedures.
• Coordinate information for CPA during audits and physical inventories.
• Ensure accurate bank reconciliations and ledgers across multiple brands.
