Cardinale Automotive Group seeks an experienced Automotive Controller to lead accounting for a multi-brand dealership. The role focuses on overseeing accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, and supporting strategic financial decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of automotive dealership accounting experience (office management or supervision).
• Strong understanding of dealership accounting procedures and general ledger management.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations for a multi-brand automotive dealership.
• Manage and supervise the accounting office with focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements and reports.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll coordination, reconciliations, and GL activity.
• Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Train and develop accounting staff and promote teamwork.
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, internal controls, and procedures.
• Collaborate with management on financial planning and decisions.
