Advantage Technical in Allen Park, MI is seeking a Master Clay Modeler to support aerodynamic testing and prototype development. You will perform precision clay modeling, A-surface sculpting, and fabricate components with clay, foam, metal, and composites.

This hands-on role requires 5+ years of automotive clay modeling, CNC operation, rapid prototyping, and CAD reading. You will ensure model accuracy, safety, and confidentiality while contributing to cutting-edge vehicle development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive clay modeling and surface development experience.
• Experience with CNC equipment, rapid prototyping, and digital scanning technologies.
• Ability to read CAD files and engineering documentation.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision clay modeling and A-surface sculpting.
• Fabricate and modify prototype components using clay, foam, metal, and composite materials.
• Operate CNC milling equipment and support rapid prototyping processes.
• Prepare, assemble, and finish 3D-printed components.
• Utilize digital scanning technology to verify model accuracy.
• Interpret CAD data, engineering changes, and technical specifications.
