Job summary

LEGO Manufacturing Virginia Inc. in Chester, VA seeks an Automated Warehouse Technician III to maintain and optimize our highly automated warehouse systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

You will perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot complex equipment, and support uptime with data-driven actions. The role requires a technical degree or 5+ years' experience, knowledge of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems, PLCs

Qualifications

• Technical degree or 5+ years of experience maintaining automated systems.
• Hands-on experience maintaining automated warehouse equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience troubleshooting equipment failures and identifying root causes.
• Must be able to work safely at heights (8–40 meters).
• CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safe maintenance practices.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office) and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on automated warehouse equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated equipment issues.
• Modify machine settings and operating parameters to optimize performance.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Collaborate with warehouse operations to minimize downtime and coordinate maintenance.
• Support suppliers and vendors to resolve critical equipment issues.
• Participate in Lean, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives and KPI reporting.
