A global medical technology company is seeking a Senior Automation Controls & Vision Engineer to lead the design and integration of advanced automation systems. Located in Pittsburgh, this role involves close collaboration with R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to deploy high-performance solutions in medical device manufacturing. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, 5+ years of experience in automation controls, and programming skills in C++ or Python. The position offers competitive benefits and up to 25% travel.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in automation controls and/or vision system engineering.
Hands-on machine vision setup and optimization experience.
Medical device manufacturing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Integrate and optimize machine vision systems.
Design and program Allen-Bradley PLC systems.
Develop HMIs, safety interlocks, and integrated automation architectures.
Drive continuous improvement and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
