Job summary

BigBear.ai is seeking an AutomationTest Engineer to perform manual and automated testing across software solutions. You will design, execute, and maintain test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, and Cypress, and track defects in Jira.

The role requires strong communication and documentation, plus experience with SDLC activities. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, 5–8 years in automation testing, and the ability to obtain DHS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Sciences, Engineering, Physical Sciences or related field is required; applicable experience may be considered.
• 5–8 years of experience in Automation Testing.
• U.S. citizen able to pass DHS background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform automation testing of web and mobile applications.
• Work with Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress.
• Enter defects into Jira and maintain test plans and scripts.
• Execute manual functional and automation testing based on requirements.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure release quality.
• Provide functional testing and support during installation or configuration.
