Job summary

BigBear.ai is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to perform automation testing of web and mobile applications. You will work with Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, and Cypress and enter defects into Jira while maintaining comprehensive test plans and procedures.

This role requires 5–8 years of automation testing experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to document and report bugs clearly. A DHS background check and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
5–8 years of experience in automation testing.
Must be able to pass a DHS background check and be a US citizen.
Experience writing test plans, cases, and scripts from requirements.
Ability to document testing and report bugs using Jira.

Responsibilities

Perform automation testing of web and mobile applications.
Work with Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, and Cypress.
Enter defects into Jira and track resolutions.
Maintain test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
Execute manual and automation testing based on requirements and deployment environment.
Run regression tests to ensure release quality.
Provide functional testing to verify features work as expected.
Assist during software installation or configuration.
