Job summary

DCCA is recruiting an SDET in Maryland to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, collaborating with product owners and dev teams to ensure quality across releases. The role emphasizes CI/CD integration and performance testing in an Agile environment.

Ideal candidates will have 6+ years in QA/automation, strong Java skills, and hands-on experience with Playwright, RestAssured, TestNG, and Cucumber, plus CI/CD tools. Public Trust clearance or willingness to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software testing, QA, or software development with a focus on automation.
• Proficiency in Java and automation frameworks used in test design and execution.
• Experience with CI/CD and version control, agile methodologies, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with product owners and development teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Conduct code reviews for test scripts and work with developers to ensure high-quality code practices.
• Implement performance and load testing to ensure application scalability and responsiveness.
• Identify, document, and track defects with timely resolution in collaboration with development teams.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for rapid feedback on code quality.
• Maintain documentation of testing processes, test cases, and results.
• Participate in all Agile ceremonies.
