Job summary

Agile Defense, LLC seeks a Test Automation Engineer to join our team at Fort Meade, MD. You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks supporting USCYBERCOM mission systems and cyber operations platforms, collaborating with developers and cybersecurity analysts to deliver reliable, secure software solutions.

The role requires extensive CI/CD expertise, experience with containerization, scripting, and technical documentation, plus an active TS/SCI with Poly

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
• Minimum 10+ years of related experience with large-scale CI/CD infrastructure and common source control frameworks.
• Experience supporting integration, deployment, and validation of software systems in multi-environment pipelines.
• Experience using cloud virtualization platforms like vSphere or ARIA.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks like Robot framework, Pytest, and GoogleTest.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience utilizing Podman/Docker.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps infrastructure for mission systems.
• Develop, integrate, and optimize automated testing frameworks and validation pipelines.
• Support lifecycle management by deploying scalable infrastructure across development and test environments.
• Evaluate emerging DevOps tools and containerization technologies for integration into environments.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including system architecture, test plans, CI/CD workflows, and procedures.
• Collaborate with developers, cybersecurity analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into testable solutions.
