Job summary

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA), is seeking an Automation Test Engineer on a CONTRACT basis for a banking client in Cincinnati, OH. You will lead automated testing efforts, build frameworks, and drive data API testing with Java and Python technologies.

You will design and implement Selenium-based automation, configure Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, and work within Agile Scrum/Kanban ceremonies to deliver robust regression suites for SOAP/XML web services and data movement with Kafka.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and collaborative skills to provide technical direction and hands-on software development.
• Experience building test scripts for Features, Scenarios and Steps in BDD using Cucumber (Gherkin).
• Experience developing Selenium automation frameworks using JUnit/TestNG and Maven targets.
• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript-based technologies (Node.js, Angular).
• Experience with Jenkins, Maven, and Selenium Grid; capable of configuring CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead automated testing efforts and build frameworks using open source tools.
• Develop and execute test plans and cases for Java and Python data APIs and data movement with Kafka.
• Create automated regression suites and integrate with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to implement BDD with Cucumber and Gherkin.
