Job summary

Axon is seeking an Automation Technician to repair equipment, support manufacturing lines, and perform preventive maintenance. You will collaborate with Engineering and QA while ensuring safety and quality standards on the onsite production floor.

Responsibilities include maintaining automation components, testing subsystems, and documenting test data. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and hands-on experience with electromechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics automation manufacturing.
• Knowledge of electromechanical and vision systems.
• Ability to read and interpret written instructions.
• Ability to use Digital Multimeter (DMM).
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and vision issues.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, repair, and maintain automation components and systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on production test equipment and subsystems.
• Provide feedback to Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, Training, and Quality teams.
• Directly support the manufacturing line to meet daily and monthly goals.
• Visually inspect, test, and assemble components or subassemblies using approved procedures.
• Use a computer to perform testing, download information, or record test data.
• Use hand tools, machine tools and various equipment to repair and test products.
