Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a Senior Automated Technician to support the client’s Maintenance and Production teams in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining advanced automated material handling systems in an industrial facility.

The role covers ASRS crane systems, autonomous mobile robots, Cognex vision systems, conveyors, and related equipment. You will mentor technicians and contribute to continuous improvement while working within a CBRE environment.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent certification in Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Robotics, or related discipline.
• Experience in high-volume automated distribution environments with ASRS/AMRs/self-guided vehicles.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and OEM manuals for diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures and using PPE.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on ASRS cranes, AMRs, autonomous forklifts, and conveyors.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control issues on material handling systems.
• Read blueprints and OEM manuals to diagnose and resolve failures quickly.
• Maintain maintenance history and parts in CMMS (Maximo).
• Mentor less experienced technicians and support continuous improvement.
