Job summary

Broadcast Music is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to design and implement end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright, Cucumber, Jest, and TypeScript, with Python-based testing capabilities. Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on experience in QA automation within large-scale environments.
• Design and build automation frameworks from the ground up.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript for UI and end-to-end testing.
• API test automation using Playwright API, SuperTest, Jest, or similar.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM and JSforce API for CRM interactions.
• Proficiency in SQL for test data management and database validation.
• Experience with Python scripting in testing contexts.
• Own and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution.
• Agile/Scrum fundamentals; comfortable in sprint-based teams.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity.
• Experience building AI-driven automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for large architectures.
• Write robust automation scripts for end-to-end UI and functional testing.
• Develop and maintain BDD test suites to align with business requirements.
• Build and maintain API automation test suites for REST services.
• Perform automated testing against CRM platforms via APIs.
• Write SQL queries for data validation and test data management.
• Develop scripting utilities to support testing infrastructure.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Provide status updates on testing progress and defects to stakeholders.
• Identify, document, and track defects to resolution with developers.
• Champion QA best practices across engineering teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning and standups.
