Edgewater Automation is seeking a Project Manager to lead the design and build of automated assembly systems. The role requires coordinating a跨-disciplinary team, managing scope, and ensuring customer satisfaction with delivered equipment and services.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, and interfacing with customers, managing resources, and directing daily project operations. Occasional travel may be required as projects vary in scope and location.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, or equivalent experience in custom automation.
• At least 5 years of experience managing projects in applicable industry.
• Experience in customer negotiations and marketing efforts desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Manage custom automation projects ranging in size from $500,000 to 7 million.
• Interface with Edgewater’s management team to manage customer expectations.
• Establish goals including specification, cycle time, schedule, budget and resources.
• Monitor project costs vs budgets and forecast cash flow issues.
• Oversee ERP and Office tools to manage project workflow and reporting.
• Support Sales and Applications in developing concepts, proposals, quotations and presentations.
• Direct daily operations to meet customer requirements and expectations.
• Report project status regularly to customers and management.
• Coordinate weekly meetings with customer and project team.
• Maintain action lists according to Edgewater’s ISO procedures.
• Estimate resources and material costs to complete the project.
• Ensure resources are available to complete projects on schedule and within hours.
• Prepare and submit engineering change orders for scope changes.
• Maintain safety compliance.
• Document and communicate project status and needs.
• Stay current with education and technical publications.
