Job summary

Edgewater Automation is seeking a Project Manager to lead the design and build of automated assembly systems for precision industries. You will manage scope, budget, schedule, and customer communications across the full project life cycle in a mixed office-manufacturing environment.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and a focus on cost control and timely delivery. Occasional travel is expected, including potential international assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or management or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience managing, leading or overseeing capital equipment projects.
• DOL Journeymen Machine Builder or Electrical Tech certificate desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects ranging from $300k to $5M.
• Interface with Edgewater’s management to align customer expectations.
• Define goals including specs, cycle time, schedule, budget, and resources.
• Estimate resources and material costs; manage project budgets.
• Prepare and submit engineering change orders to customers.
• Mentor and develop other project managers within the group.
