Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer for a well-established manufacturer of customized automated production equipment in the Milwaukee area.

You will own complete machine design from concept through release, leading engineers and contractors as needed to meet client specifications, cycle times, and performance targets. You will apply solid mechanical design skills, GD&T, welding/fixture design, and potentially robotics or vision systems, while coordinating with customers and

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in mechanical engineering with strong design capabilities.
• Experience designing fully customized automated production equipment.
• Proficiency with GD&T and welding fixture design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall design of custom automated machines from concept to completion.
• Break down design tasks, manage resources, and communicate milestones to team and clients.
• Incorporate robotics, vision systems, welding, fixtures, hydraulics, pneumatics, and controls into designs.
• Maintain project budget and release schedules while reporting progress to management.
