Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II – Assembly to develop, implement, and optimize assembly processes in a high-mix, low-volume environment. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, process capability, and continuous improvement.

You will lead capital equipment projects, support NPI and product transfers, and work across functions to deliver safe, on-time, and cost-efficient manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or better in a manufacturing/engineering field.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing engineering supporting complex assembly operations.
• Experience with DOE, OFAT, Cp/Cpk, SPC, MSA/Gage R&R, and Process Validation.
• Strong Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement knowledge.
• Experience leading capital equipment implementation projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize robust assembly processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Lead process development initiatives and improve process capability through experimentation.
• Implement capital equipment and support new product introductions.
• Drive continuous improvement across assembly operations in a high-mix, low-volume environment.
