Job summary

URBN, the company behind Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Free People and Nuuly, is seeking a senior Maintenance Technician III in Raymore, MO to own advanced diagnostics and reliability of automated equipment. You will mentor junior technicians and lead RCA to drive improvements.

This role requires deep automation expertise, strong PLC/servo troubleshooting, and coordination with OEMs, with CMMS documentation and involvement in capital projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in automated environments.
• Strong experience with PLCs, servo systems, and advanced electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and controls issues across automation systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, servo systems, and industrial networks.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement reliability improvements.
• Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and system docs.
• Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for advanced support.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS and support capital projects.
• Mentor Maintenance Technicians I & II.
